    Continuing Education Programs

Improve your skills in a current job, or learn new ones to prepare for a different job!  For some, jumping with both feet into a degree program just isn’t feasible right now – or even desirable.  Instead, a continuing education program in one of Monroe’s many disciplines – from Health Services or the Culinary Arts to Business and Computers – might be the right fit for you.  And you can complete it in no time!

Look into these current continuing education offerings and keep your eyes open for new ones in the coming year.

If you are looking to get started at college and you're not quite ready to dive right in, or your work schedule doesn't really permit or your personal life, you really might consider a continuing Ed option. You can take either a course, or a collection of courses in a particular discipline that will allow you to build a skill that you can apply right away, but also will lead you into an associate degree program. So just a couple of examples, let's say, in our allied health programs, you might consider something in EKG and phlebotomy, or in billing and coding. In business, you might consider something like project management with-- which a lot of employers are really looking for, or really exciting for a lot of adults, you can do a certification program in our culinary arts, and all of those programs then lead up to an associate degree as soon as you're ready for that. So I hope you'll think about continuing Ed as an option.
